I do not own a digital camera. Could I attend Digital Days?
Yes. You do not need a digital camera of you own, as we will provide Sony digital cameras for participants to use during a live shoot. In fact, if you are planning to buy a digital camera, Digital for Beginners is the ideal workshop which will give you all the important information on digital photography, even hands-on training; and by the end of the day you will be armed with all the facts to make an educated purchasing decision.

I do not own a Sony digital camera. Is it useful for me to attend Digital Days?
Yes. Digital Days is the perfect learning experience for all digital camera users irrespective of make and model. It is being put together by Popular Photography & Imaging, the world's largest imaging magazine, and will cover digital cameras and photography in general as you have seen appear in the pages of this excellent publication. We will be providing Sony digital cameras to use during a live shoot, but we encourage participants, who own digital cameras, to bring them along. It does not matter whether it is a brand-new or older model.

I am not sure which of the two workshops I should attend?
If you have been shooting for under a year or are still not familiar with the basics, Digital for Beginners will be the perfect course for you. If you have been shooting for longer or already know the basics of digital photography then the Digital for Intermediate Users would be more useful. If in doubt, select the Beginners. There will be a lot of information and training provided in the Beginners as well.

I have just started with digital photography, but would like to attend both the Digital for Beginners and Digital for Intermediate Users back-to-back to get a head start on the competition. May I do so?
Yes, that would be a good idea. If you feel that you are not well grounded in the basics, but do not think of yourself as a beginner; then it would make sense to attend the Digital for Beginners first before attempting the Digital for Intermediate Users to get the maximum out of the later course. The Beginners is on Saturday and the Intermediate on Sunday making it very convenient to attend both of them consecutively. Please keep in mind though, that some repetition and duplication is inevitable to maintain continuity and clarity.

How is the Intermediate class different from the Beginners?
Many topics not suitable for beginners will be introduced in the Intermediate. In addition, some of the topics may be the same as in the Beginners, but the discussion will be at a more advanced level. Intermediate students should expect a more in-depth digital photography workshop.

What results should I see after attending a workshop?
