DECEMBER 2008

The slender white trunks slicing through autumn colors made this a fall classic. The sharp reeds are composed well in the top third of the photo, while the oranges and reds and yellows mingle with green reflections in water beautifully. Abstract photography often walks a fine line between the almost and the successful, but this photo works and fits the theme perfectly. We almost would like to see the same shot without the lilies in the water, but this is quite nice.
